Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the oldest known forms of healing, has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease for over 2000 years. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and massage are modalities used within TCM to promote health. TCM originated in China and is now used world-wide as an effective means of overcoming disease. The NIH has recognized the efficacy of acupuncture in treating a variety of conditions, and it is used by a quarter of the world's population.
Acupuncture stimulates the central nervous system to normalize physiological function, reduce pain, and enhance the immune system.
